Wellstreet Fintech Fund I.

Backed by top executives from leading Nordic banks and fintech companies including Avanza, Collector, Handelsbanken, Swedbank, Northmill, Resurs and Klarna, the VC fund was created to drive greater efficiencies throughout the global finance and banking ecosystem.

Driven by rapid changes, the business-to-business segment in financial services will be disrupted the same way consumer products have been disrupted during the last decade. We have a deep understanding of the financial industry and can pinpoint what needs to happen for many of the current actors to become more efficient, profitable, sustainable and compliant.

Launched in February 2022, Wellstreet’s Fintech Fund I makes investments in early stage B2B service and infrastructure technology providers with global business models and innovative solutions.

Since its last fundraising period closed in the summer of 2023, Wellstreet's is focusing even more on the most exciting phase of the fund, the investment period, where we aim to find and invest in the best fintechs of the future, and the holding period, where we closely support our portfolio with our hands-on approach.

Wellstreet Ventures II.

Ventures II Fund represents Wellstreet's new phase, but maintaining the same wining thesis implemented in the first generalist fund. We aim to invest in a healthy mix of D2C, B2B, SaaS and product startups in early stages founded by commercially-minded diverse founders with a growth mindset.

Wellstreet Ventures invests based on a number of basic premises;
Customer experience - offering own customer experience or helping to improve others'.
Data driven models - the business shall be built on and able to be optimised by data
ESG 2.0 - a proactive approach and dedication to have a positive impact on ESG factors.
Early stage but not ahead of the curve, we are early stage investors, but we won't invest unless we believe the startup successfully can "cross the chasm" and achieve mainstream adoption.
