Wellstreet wins Nordic Founders Switch Pitch: voted best investor by founders
Wellstreet CEO Maria Lindholm pitched Wellstreet to a jury and room full of founders at Nordic Founders' inaugural Switch Pitch event, and won.

Stockholm, 27 January 2026: Nordic Founders recently hosted what is believed to be the world's first Switch Pitch: a format where the tables are turned and investors pitch to founders, not the other way around. Six investors took the stage to convince a founder jury and an audience of over 200 founders why they should take their money. Wellstreet, represented by CEO and Partner Maria Lindholm, was voted the winner.
The jury consisted of founders Ken Villum Klausen (Lunar), Sara Landfors (Normain), Sebastian Hjärne (Talentium) and Sara Boras (Founders House). Maria pitched Wellstreet alongside representatives from Northzone, Norrsken VC, Pinecone Ventures and Further Than Capital. The winner was decided by a combination of jury verdict and audience vote.
Being voted the best investor by founders is a validation that means more to us than most. It reflects what we have always believed: that the relationship between a founder and their investor should be one of genuine alignment, trust, and mutual choice. Founders should be just as selective about who they take money from as investors are about where they put it.
"Being voted the winner by founders themselves is one of the biggest honours I can imagine. It is a reminder of why we do what we do," says Maria Lindholm, CEO and Partner at Wellstreet.
