About me
Maria came to Wellstreet after a career that took her from finance into the startup world and back again, most recently leading international expansion at Swedish foodtech company Nick's before joining as a partner. As CEO she oversees the firm's continued growth as one of the Nordics' most active early-stage investors.
She is also the Chairwoman of Nordic Tech Week, the Nordics' largest free tech festival, a recurring name on Ledarna's list of Sweden's Future Female Leaders, a frequent panelist, and guest lecturer at Stockholm School of Economics. She holds dual master's degrees in Finance and International Business from SSE and Bocconi, and credits yoga and pilates for keeping her sane through all of it.
