About me
Ola's career started as a lieutenant in the Swedish Naval Forces before he moved into banking in 2000, spending the following 21 years working his way through increasingly senior roles at Swedbank and eventually becoming CEO of PayEx, the Stockholm-based payments company with around a thousand employees. Since January 2025 he serves as Managing Director at Intrum Sweden.
He joined the Fintech Board because he wanted to bring the buyer's perspective to early-stage fintech: what it actually takes to sell to a large bank, how procurement decisions get made, and why the compliance and legal setup matters from day one. That perspective is rare, and genuinely useful.
