About me
Dr. Sïmon Saneback decided at twelve that he was going to be an entrepreneur and started his first company at sixteen. He has worked with more than 100 companies in the decades since, across five continents, from garage startups to global corporations.
In 2016 he co-founded Wellstreet with Mikael Wintzell, on the conviction that an ecosystem for entrepreneurs should be built by entrepreneurs. He has backed over 60 companies as an investor and held senior executive roles of his own, which is what he offers a founder: he has run companies, not only funded them. He remains a Founding Partner, having stepped off the board in 2020 and stayed on in an advisory capacity since.
He holds an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from École des Ponts Business School in Paris, where his research asked why most tech startups do not survive, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington, D.C. He has spoken at over 200 conferences worldwide and works with policymakers and governments on how emerging technology gets governed.
The cross-cultural perspective is partly by nature and partly because he is on a personal mission to visit every country in the world. Somehow he still finds the time.
