Wellstreet Journal - November Edition

Dear friends,

November is here! We have some exciting updates and some great reading for you this month.

In this monthly round-up, we share news from the Wellstreet team, announcements about our HQ, The Factory, as well as some exciting updates from our portfolio and network.

💊 We hope you’re all keeping up morale, determination and doubling down on vitamin doses, as new government restrictions were announced in Sweden to keep us safe and limit the spread of the pandemic.

What's Up?

🔔  Last month, we had our 5th Wellstreet Launchpad event powered by Google for Startups!

⬥ 17 companies participated digitally

⬥ 10 mentors joined us from Ireland, the US, the UK, Israel, Poland and Spain!

⬥ We hosted 5 live sessions

⬥ We organised 22 one-on-one mentoring sessions

⬥ There was only 1 incident of “zoom fail” when one participant forgot his camera was on and started multi-tasking, getting ready for a shower... 🙈

We explored a wide range of topics with our teams, such as data structuring & management in Google Cloud, product design, machine learning. Then some of us deep-dived into advanced user research, Google Analytics, value proposition vs usability and the importance of a clean CRM as an invaluable data source.

The team’s favourite session was our Fireside Chat with one of our alumni companies, Tibber, with co-founder and CPO Daniel Linden and our CEO Mikael Wintzell. We have just released the full video on our Youtube channel and a summary of the session on our website for you all to enjoy!

🔔  We became finalists in the Nordic Startup Awards, Investor of the Year! We are super excited to see our name up there with 3 fantastic fellow investors, and are really grateful for those who nominated us. Now the public vote begins and we would appreciate your support! If you love us and enjoy reading this Journal, please vote for us here!
