Wellstreet Journal - October Edition

Dear friends,

Welcome to October’s issue of the Wellstreet Journal!

In this monthly round-up, we share news from the Wellstreet team, announcements about our HQ The Factory as well as some exciting updates from our portfolio and founders!

September has been a busy month for everyone as we adapt to a new normal, and we hope you’ve hit the ground running and embraced the new challenges and opportunities arising!

What's Up?

🔔  We are busy planning our next Launchpad Days in partnership with Google for Startups for our portfolio companies. The theme this time around is Product & Technology. The event will be held fully digitally, so we are ⚡opening up 5 extra seats⚡ for startups outside of our current portfolio. If the below topics are of interest to you, please apply by sending us an email with your pitch deck to info@wellstreet.vc.

🔔 Tomorrow (yes!) opens a new space at The Factory, Makerzone. It is a creative meeting place to engage in technology and creation. There are many different materials, robots, VR glasses, drones, 3D printers and a workshop. The primary intention of Makerzone is to provide a space for preschools and schools to work with themes linked to the goals in the curriculum. In the long run, the plan is for Makerzone to be open to everyone with workshops, training, inspiration and collaborations. Makerzone is an initiative by Sollentuna municipality together with us at Wellstreet.

🔔  Last but not least, we are so proud and humbled to have been nominated for Sweden’s Investor of the Year Award for the Nordic Startup Awards! A big thank you to our community for the support! 🙏
